Been wanting to draw him younger for a long time, just to see/show what he looked like before prison wrecked him. Twenty years worth of stress, hard drugs, rage, and hurt later he's not so pretty anymore.
Was also consistency practise 'cause do I ever fucking need it. Drew 'em side by side. Overlaid these two afterward and they matched up pretty well. :D

Finished commission from #184, yet another OOC pairing! AzureMosquito's night elf Garethil and her blood elf Fraeyin. Some parts of the anatomy went weird but it was a fun job! JUst...took me an inordinate amount of time to finish because yay DAYJOB WEEKS FROM HELL.

A pretty fantastically out of character (and fantastically pretty) Lyr. At least if you take this literally. This is more allegorical than anything, really, given that his Shadowfiend is literally part of himself that he sort of vomits up. There’s a lot of uncomfortable things that this says about his Shadow-self and the effects of his corruption and blah blah blah.

Speedpaint thing from a while back. A rather OOC Lindir and Kailenn sharing a toy in an inexplicably green room. Tried out new shit. Painting on one layer makes my ass itch.
Expanded floorplan of Black Sun Technologies, ground storey. The proportions are all fucked up but I guess this is more to show where the hell things are.
A sketch banged out for the sake of comparison. One of the “new” orcish buildings on which I based BST. Nothing in WoW is to scale which makes figuring out proportions a highly frustrating affair but the basic shape is good enough: a circle with a little rectangular bit at the font, with a porch, multiple awnings, a third tier of skylights, and spikes on everything. I was just getting down the basic shape so all the extra cosmetic crud’s left off.
And here's the outside of BST. From the above, the tiny entrance way is expanded to a full shop. Fewer awnings. Glass window-front. On especially hot days there’s another velarium they can put up over the porch as indicated in the bird's-eye view floorplan above. Round part ground floor is the shop+shower. Smoke vent to the rear. Detached at back is the cistern system which pumps, filtres, and when needed heats water; holds approx 1k gallons though it's the size of a 2k gallon tank. Upper floor has a flat front w/ door & full-length windows to a balustraded balcony that covers most of the roof over the store. Outside the balustrade, the shingles are rigged with shockwire with voltage sufficient to incapacitate. Third tier is all skylight; the roof houses mills for interior wind-powered fans.
